Posted : 2 months, 1 week ago on 15 May 2008 10:59 (A review of Standard Operating Procedure)

informative documentary. i feel for those mp's (they were just kids). bureaucracies suck!

taut drama

Posted : 2 months, 3 weeks ago on 3 May 2008 05:34 (A review of Before the Devil Knows You're Dead)

everyone in this film is excellent. the story is great, the film moves briskly toward the end (with occassional flashbacks). great film! phillip seymour hoffman is awesome.

really bad

Posted : 2 months, 3 weeks ago on 3 May 2008 05:29 (A review of Lars and the Real Girl)

sucked! c'mon the whole town pretends a sex doll is real. they even have a funereal for the stupid thing. totally retarded film! not funny, not deep- just boring. i thought it might be a quirky tim burtonesque type of film but i was wrong.

dud

not even close to any christopher guest film. no eccentric characters, not funny, not well improvised, not insightful. it sucked.

uncomfortable

Posted : 4 months, 2 weeks ago on 10 March 2008 07:47 (A review of The Office - The Complete Second Series (BBC Edtion))

more uncomfortable than funny. i don't know whether to be sympathetic or hateful towards david. i wonder what his childhood was like?

here comes the sun

Posted : 4 months, 3 weeks ago on 2 March 2008 01:55 (A review of Sunshine)

isolation. space travel. cramped quarters. never good for the human psyche.

fonts?

Posted : 4 months, 3 weeks ago on 28 February 2008 02:49 (A review of Helvetica)

a documentary on fonts! i wasn't that excited either- but this documentary is intelligent, humorous and thought provoking. it will change they way you look at the world...or the signage at least.
